Concept:
M35 is home to MIT’s Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering Laboratories, in Cambridge MA. Hubert Murray was commissioned to design new entries to the building, including awnings, paving upgrades and new doors. The awnings were intended to symbolize the industrious happenings within the building, using steel supports, corrugated metal roofing, and simple, mechanical connections.
