About the Author:
I’m an architect, college-level educator, and environmental researcher interested in the poetic and physical superimposition of the natural environment, human beings, and the built environment. My undergraduate research focused on the intersection of people’s interactions with the natural and build environments, specifically focusing on blind navigation, and the nature of sensory perception in way-finding. To that end, I’ve presented my research in the field of Universal Design, both to professional audiences as well as high school and college students.
I hold a master’s degree in sustainable environmental design, from the Architectural Association in London, and now work as an environmental researcher and sustainable design development manager for Oxford Brookes University and Architype LTD. Primarily, I focus on post-occupancy evaluations, and study how buildings perform, environmentally, after construction.
